During her 3 years on the FTP she embraced the diversity of embroidery techniques, explored colour, texture, and design, and developed her own style of embroidered abstracts.
She is a keen textiles recycler and embraces repairing, reusing and remaking, and she volunteers at her local Repair Café as a textile’s repairer.
Sonia is a hand embroiderer and tutor who trained at the Royal School of Needlework (RSN), graduating from the Future Tutors Programme (FTP) in 2022.
